may take 10 tries to upload a pic first time then after getting one to take, unable to get second one to uplaod for 5 or 10 more times (or until completely frustrated and go elsewhere; problem seems pretty exclusive to said thread...

There's always a chance there's just something weird with that one thread, but I have found that with larger size picture files there are some times when I have problems uploading them and other times it works fine. You might try downsizing the photos a bit and see if that works better. It can be somewhat random when I'll have trouble--I'll sometimes have several pics go through fine, and then one just seems to get stuck multiple times. I've always gotten them to go through eventually but if you're getting frustrated with it, it may be worth trying downsizing to see if that helps.

I am having problems loading pictures in the Butterfly thread also, and the TX Gardening forum thread too. I usually don't have problems with any of my cropped pics. It seems to be timing out or something.
Went and tried again, my pic is only 158kb. "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" is what it is telling me.
