DAILY PICS VOL. #246

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

All the Warblers on here, makes me miss mine. But still nice to see them in pictures. I'll be able to prepare for next spring on the ID. Never seen a Ruby-crowned Kinglet yet.
Elphaba, you must have a nice spot for bird watching, lovely Heron pics.
Great shot of the Boobook Owl, like the way, you were able to get the shot.

I took this picture near the coast, it was quite far, for my camera. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I have a Great Cormorant?

I think I saw, a Northern Fulmar, wing span was bigger then the gulls and flight was different. Only got the back end of it in flight. Not enough for a good ID, that would have been a first if I could have IDed it for sure. But saw this Snow Goose by the pier, new one for me.

And the Semi Palmated Plover. Also a new one for me.

I believe this might be a Semipalmated Sandpiper, along with a Plover.

Nice Photo's Everyone!! Hack I had a Mourning Dove acting strangely also it just sat there and let me walk by him and he didn't budge, I noticed he was getting some new feather's on his head like yours, maybe they get head aches idk lol. He took off after the Feral cat showed up though. Burn nice shot's of the shorebird's that's something I want to work on come next spring.
Dellrose nice shot of the Yellowthroat, and Kinglet, never seen one. I know I missed some of you with the comment's but I look at everything here and nice job too all as usual.

Too small a pic to tell between Great and Double-crested, unfortunately

Look for very stiff-winged flight, they don't flex their wings at the wrist joint so much as gulls. Size - intermediate between small gulls (e.g. Bonaparte's) and large ones (e.g. Herring); just slightly larger than a Ring-billed.

Yep, looks good for me
