Sunny & chilly---had to go outside to rescue my dale who jumped into my shade garden, but decided he couldn't jump back out! Grrrr! In short pjs----after I turned my ankle & fell at the fair in front of a hundred horrified people---I'm very stiff & sore--could barely walk down the stairs! Not too embarrassing!
RD, sending thoughts of rapid healing.

Sorry to hear, Robin. Feel better soon!
OUCH! Hope the healing goes well for you.

I'm sorry Robin, feel better soon, can't wait to meet you Sat!!
Oh gosh Robin hope your feeling better soon.
Beautiful day!
Yes - fantastic. I had high hopes of getting some weeding and cleanup done, but got sidetracked by other chores. Tomorrow!
Thanks, guys---you'll meet me with scabby knees, Pixie! Great day, but I had writing class, DH had a DR.'s appt., now we're headed to the farm to babysit.

60 and ugly. Another crappy day for my hike - if I go.
rain
Lycoris?
Nice flower, Jada---60 right now & overcast---rain forecast for the next 2 days---oh, joy.
Sorry, I don't know what it is. I don't even remember planting it. Might be a volunteer. I was thinking Allium.
The sun came out suddenly. Yeah!
was 57 here a 9am - overcast
68 and very breezy.
Back early from my hike. Had the misfortune of meeting up with a stirred-up yellowjacket nest. Got stung about 4 or 5 times - left hand and left achilles area. Came back out of caution. No need for Epi-Pen - at least so far! Took Benadryl and started a Medrol doase pack. I'll take a pic of my red swollen hand later. Got my wedding ring of just in time - had to ignore the usual bells and alarms.
Oh, Victor...I hate those yellowjackets. The one thing I don't like about this time of year.
Yes - they are my enemy. And they're always aggressive. My left hand is completely swollen now.
Keep that epi-pen in reach for awhile Victor--just in case. Glad you are ok!
Thanks, Phoebe. I do have it nearby.
As long as you can sing Yellow Submarine--yer fine!
I am singing it - each time I regain consciousness. Just kidding!
