Howdy all...it's been a while since I've posted :o) Have been in and out of town due to work. Lots of good photos everyone has posted!!! Nothing to see out here lately - we've actually been getting rain. YES, RAIN!!!!!
Our temps even dropped from oer 100 during the day to 64 during the night!!! What a drastic change! I love it! It's been fairly decent - ranging from 76-86 during the day lately. That with added drizzle and some stronger showers. It has really helped!!!
Am at the ranch right now and drove out to check on all those wildflower seeds I'd purchased and traded for. Am so excited - there are lots of little sprouts all over the areas I tossed out the seeds!!!! Yippee!!!
Of course, there are deer tracks as well but it doesn't look like they nibbled at anything. It might just turn out to be a bumper crops of blooms come the next couple of months - just in time for our peak butterfly season.
Did see some Fatal Metalmarks eventhough it was damp and cloudy this morning. Saw several tuck themselves into the foliage of the native grasses as the rain started coming down.
Would say I hope everyone is enjoying their butterflies - but by all the photos - I can tell every one is!!!
Ya'll and your butterflies will be covered in my dust come October :o)
Ha! Ha!

maybe with all the rain, there will be other food sources for the deer!
I'll have more zinnia seeds I can send you! I need to do some serious deadheading!
