Hi Folks,

I'm sure I saw a search function on DG that allowed me to search by shade, color, height, zone, etc. Can anyone help me find this or was I on another site?

It's the "advanced search" in Plant Files--go to Plant Files, then instead of clicking the big green search button, go up to the top of the page (under the navigation tabs) and you'll see a link that says search & browse tools and it's one of the options on that page.

Could the search engine be tweaked so that if you're in a particular forum or thread, the search box on the page will start with the forum you're already in? Generally, if I'm in the Recipes Forum and I want to do a search, it's for a recipe I saw somewhere there...having to go through the whole "fill in the blanks" thing is not always easy.

Just a suggestion.

I agree that that's how I usually progress and adding this feature would be really nice.
