That is a LUNA moth. The green one is the male and there is a brown one that is huge ,that is the female. Ours usually are all around here Feb-Apr. Don't usually see any after that. So pretty.

OH AREJAY, that lily is heavenly! I love those colors. What kind is it?
Can anybody tell me what the very tall (5-6 ft) yellow daisy looking things are that are blooming in all the ditches in this part of the world (northern KY) right now are? I think I'd lie to snag some seeds, or roots, or whatever they are for my flowerbeds. DH says they are just big weeds. Which is the same thing he says about the joe pye so I pay no attention to him.

Arejay what kind of lily up there? Is it a parrot lily or bush lily of some sort? So pretty. Davesrq just sent me some seed pods of a Jatropha multifida- coralbush and I'm going to put some pods in your envelope. She said there was lots of seeds in the pods. This is one of those no one wants to ingest or play with. Plant it and leave it alone, keep them away from kids and pets. Like the datura- I guess, they aren't for everyone. BUT if anyone wants any let me know.
