Amen a day we will never forget..We lost our filling of being safe at home in America..Terrorist are hard to understand for us..They don't just kill the enemy they kill the innocent. They say for religous reasons..DUH There is know way to figure this in killing innocent people..

Amen. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families who lost someone dear to them. You are so right, Tubby, it is something that we just won't ever understand. Not a religion I care to belong to. A very sad day indeed in our history, and will never be forgotten.
By the way, Tubby, still love your idea on the shop vacs! And, don't you ever sleep? LOL!
nothing wrong with the religion, just the extremists that belong to it. Every faith has its own share of extremists.
I was working on disaster relief and reconstruction for the Dept. of Transportation in NYC two weeks after 9/11. What a mess we were in. They deserve our prayers, then and now.

ok, nevermind...LOL.. Im a bit slow today... illness does not lend itself to quick thinking.
I didn't last night..Laid down started thinking about the garden and how I was going to do thing next year...Laid for 2hrs..Gave up and got up and had Squirt..Well I got on the puter.. And played all night..I know now I can grow brugs Yeppie There are lots different
types some of them are more hardy then others
So if you have some seeds I'll gladly pay for the postage.

Thanks Skellogg! the plan is to just 'loaf' around the house today, but we will see if i can actually make myself do that.. so much work in the garden to be done.. not to mention the pile of dishes, loads of laundry and all the vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.... *sigh* the thought alone wears me out...lol

Florida is certainly getting hit hard with that. In Wy, we have only had 179 confirmed cases, with only one death. Course, we don't have that many people together in any one place, so harder for it to spread here, I think.

The datura isn't a true brug. Yes they are more hardy than the true ones but with the actual brug they are lots bigger and smell is a lot more fragrant.

My Daturas barely grow here. I have traded one bought one started some from seed. Very little progress with the Datura and I still have no Brug sprout:(

Okay Gang - Here goes!
I've got a nice Variegated Spider Plant (chlorophytum comosum) that I'll be trimming back soon. It has lots of babies ready root easily in a water jar for transplant later.
Would like to trade for any Fall bulbs, daffs, tulips, crocus, allium, etc. D-Mail me if interested.

Just wanted e1 to know that a few weeks back, our wonderful Seray sent me a wisteria vine that she went to the trouble to find and dig for me. I am very happy to report that my little vine now has new leaves budding out on it all over! Woohoo!! Thanks again, so much Seray!

I spent most of the time searching for plans to build a solar panel for a green house What a run around. Everywhere ended up either wanted to sell something..Or was about Elec.solar panels..DUH

Solar heated greenhouse Yes Tubby!! Keep researching. That is my idea for mine. I dont know how yet. but this is what I am thinking....Water, sun, greenhouse heat, circulate. What do you think?

Cue here's a picture to brighten your day. It's the tall dahila I told you about and I have seed heads from the plant plus have been promised tubers later.
Just back from planting some stuff Mekos had sent me it's a nice cloudy day and might rain (I'm hoping anyway) Picked up some lemon mint and spearmint cuttings at my friend's the dear woman would give me a start of everything she has LOL.
Just got the official OK to have mail delivered out here after we put up a box and fill out some paperwork. Which news comes just in time to keep us from having to pay the post office box fee which is due the end of this month.
