In PF threads, my additional comments are always shown in the thread if someone adds a post, such as this one where I wrote "At a nursery".

This doesn't seem to be the case for BirdFiles. I had to click the BF link and then on my image to make sure I had remembered to add my comment, which I had. Shouldn't that also be part of the thread like the PF?

Sue, let me make sure I'm understanding your question.

You're comparing PF photos to BF photos, and your question is that if you add a caption to a BF photo, it doesn't show up in the accompanying thread. Am I understanding you correctly?

If so, that is something for Dave to look at how he's programmed the BF photo threads. Apparently, there is something different in the way it handles new photos and captions, versus how PF handles similar photo/caption uploads.
