I have been ask by many new DGers on PNW about the Photo contest, as I mention it everytime I see a great Pic. Is the date set yet??? I know it is to early Yet. As I have entered for 2 years, have not won but kinda close, have new camera this time LOL
But would like to give them something, or do I paste the link to the old ones.

I think it's usually opens sometime in October and deadline for submitting photo's is @ November 1st when it closes for judging to begin.
Thanks Plantlady. I know this but, I have seen it is very hard for newbies to find the old treads of the pics and where they are, I had trouble finding them. LOL When you say contest all ears are up. Where did Dave hide them. ????

Yes, I find it by clicking on "Extras" at the top of my home page, then scroll down to the bottom of the "Extras" page to the section that says "Dave's Attic".
Fascinating! I rarely have the time to just poke around and see what can be done here and seen here! So when I read this, I had to go click on "Extras" just so I could see what was in "Daves Attic."
But low and behold, there was so much other stuff to see!
Like the Birthday list!
And the Members Photo album. I got lost in there LOL!
Now, how in the world do you search the members photo album? I tried and nothing happened.
Next question, how to you add your photo? I am sure the answer is simple.
If you go to your member page, then click on 'Manage your preferences', then click on 'Your Picture', then you can add one that will appear on your member page and in the photos.

Is there a certain place that they post when the contest starts?
