Beautiful dress (cooler too) on a beautiful bride. Will the small rocks behind you grow if fed correctly?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Thank you all

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

So was it a big fat Greek wedding?!! ^_^

Yasou!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

yes it was - sort of

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Beautiful picture Bill and I know exactly what you mean about the Ex.
Mine told her he didn't have as much money as me and handed her $100 ..... Two days later he bought himself a dog, paid $400 for it!!

Thomaston, CT

What a lovely photo, Bill--and a very happy occasion---never shed a tear when mine married --- I was happy, happy. That was quite a story on Acadia---I remember hearing a rogue wave drowned someone on the Marginal Way in Ogunquit some time ago. The weather here was perfect---sunny, 80, low humidity---worked int he garden for a few hours.

Thomaston, CT

Whoa---that's nasty---glad you lost him!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Pixie, how rude. Glad you're rid of him.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

And what's his new bride's name, Celeste?!! Hee hee. ^_^

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Good one Victor!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

beautiful photo Bill.... 64 now going up to 86

Thomaston, CT

Another nice day---warmer than yesterday, but mid 80's is OK too! We'll be dreaming of these days in a few months.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Very nice morning, wish it would stay like that. Humidity yesterday was horrific again.
High of 87 today with 63% humidity

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Beautiful here this morning, humidity is gone for now and it's clear and 70. Expected to go up to 79 today.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

started out at 53, now about 82. Calling for 68as a high by sat. Summer lasted a week and a half!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

77 and sunny. More humid than the past two days. Supposed to be upper 80's, then a nice change to cooler temps.

Sorry - not showing up for some reason. It's tropical storm Danny and we're in its cross-hairs.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh no....

Here we go:

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

I heard this on the noon news. Danny may come right over Cape Cod, 30 miles from here.
Predictions for 4 days out are iffy but need watching.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

andy this does not look to be iffy as it has the storm right on top of the cape. even if they are off we will see some of this storm. predicted to be a cat 1 when it hits the cape.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh joy

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Wha, the storm is 4 days away. Lots can happen in that time. Four day predictions for hurricanes has an error factor of over 100 miles either way.
I would not mind an inch or two of rain, it's the wind that concerns me. If Danny goes 100 miles east of the Cape we are golden. If it goes 100 miles west, we are sunk.

The wind is the killer. We had so much damage around here from the t-storm two weeks ago. Hope we don't get hit too hard.

I was supposed to go to the Yankee game Saturday - getting picked up by lino and everything! Looks like a washout even without Danny.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

andy i completely agree that it could move. it just when we are the bullseye it is not looking good!

South Hamilton, MA

Isn't it great that these things can be watched. Hoping that people have learned about standing on rocks; both fishermen & spectators. Note: when you have seen one wave you have seen them all.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Oh boy! Maybe it's not too late to catch the 'wave watching' boat on Saturday! I like the really big ones, Yippee! ☺!

Thomaston, CT

Did you win a contest, Victor? Yankee game, limo---sounds great---but we are supposed to have a rainy weekend----I always complained about no domed stadium in NY---no one listens to me.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No - I lost! ^_^

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Cooler and drier air at last today, plenty of sunshine. Still no rain but could get a close pass by with TS coming up the coast. Hoping for some rain from this one on saturday.

Thomaston, CT

Wish I could lose like that! Cool morning here---50's---great sleeping----warming up to 70's---going out to weed hydrangea garden---happy to see Endless Summer is setting new blooms.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

turned the ac off - nice out there today.

South Hamilton, MA

Mid 60s. Hope it stays that way. Oops, here comes Danny

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

65 and Light rain. I hope Danny moves away from everybody. Wishful thinking I guess.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my windows are open as well.. who knew??

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

The weather is perfect. I'll mow the lawn this evening. That should please the neighbors, lol.

Was 42 this morning and now running in the high 70's. Tonights colder! Argh the sign of the times.
