Today's Bloom: thumbnail doesn't match

The Today's Bloom thumbnail looks like an allium maybe and is a medium purple color. When I click on it, I get California Poppy, Apricot Chiffon. Something seems to be amiss.

Hmm. I'm so confused. When I click on the thumbnail (of the allium) it takes me to the poppy indicated above. Then if I click on the "yesterday's bloom" link, I get the allium. Could this have something to do with time zones?

I'm Eastern and am seeing an Allium but getting a poppy when I click on it.

Same thing on the West coast here. I think things are just a notch out of sinc.

Today's Bloom changes at 5pm PDT the actual thumbnail doesn't change until Midnight.

Ahh, that's an interesting bug. Hmm, I need to think of a way to fix this.

I think this is fixed now. I can't test it because the time right now shows the date the same whether UTC or CDT. If ya'll notice this bug again tonight, please do let me know!

Umm, I don't think it's fixed. Or else it's broken again. I can't tell what the plant is in the thumbnail, but when I open it the entry is for Tall Morning Glory 'Sunrise Serenade'

Opps. Apparently I was two seconds too fast. It's changed now. Sorry for the false alarm.

Joan, it happened to me also.
It was a Daylily at first now it's the Tall Morning Glory

I think what happened with me was that I hadn't refreshed the page in a few minutes, so it showed the old plant, and when I clicked on the thumbnail, I got the new plant. But I can't verify that, and the plant wasn't a daylily, it was a vine or ground cover of some sort. When I went back to the main page, the thumbnail matched the plant the photo link led to, Tall Morning Glory 'Sunrise Serenade'.

I'm not sure of that though. Dave, what time does this change to the new daily plant? The change I noticed was right around 6 PM Mountain Time.

I looked back at my History and I believe I viewed Fun Random Plant...
