Thanks, Resin....I wasn't too sure about it at first, but when I saw the V, I thought it had to be the Kites.
DAILY PICS VOL. 239
GP, I love the Storks and Anhinga's!
Beautiful shots Rose!
Down at Brigantine National Wildlife Reserve along with the Roseate Spoonbill they are now seeing a Red-necked Stint! Here is a photo of one (not my photo).

Down at Brigantine National Wildlife Reserve .... a Red-necked Stint!
Very nice! Superb bird, well worth going for if anyone is within a day's travel. Had one over here a few years ago, it attracted a huge crowd of birders (me included!).
Resin
Thanks Pelle...oh my, that Stint is gorgeous!
Hi Rose and Resin, They are now reporting it is 1 adult and 1 juvenile Red-necked Stint.
Woooohoooo, Rose does that mean I will get to see them? LOL, I'm such a dreamer. I've seen so many swallows flying about here. I haven't got the oportunity to take their pix and they're 'fixing' to migrate further South as I understood it. :((
p.s. to my statement above. I was talking about the beautiful blue Bunting.
Ahhh, the juvies Cardinal are so cute! Let me make a wild guess, the two in the forefront are males and the third one is a female? I've really hard time differentiate them when the parents cardinals brought them to the feeder.
Last shot from yesterday...I really had to sneak up on this one in the brush pile!! The unidentified "bird" is in the center of the shot....LOL!!
When I first saw this through the viewfinder I thought it was a really strange looking bird!!
Thanks Lily...and I think you are right about the Cardinals. Our Barn Swallows have diminished greatly and only saw a few of them this morning. I hope you get to see the Buntings...Gardenpom has them all winter!
I'm glad your seeing so many Cardinals including the juvy's. Our's do not come around often with the large numbers of Blue Jays and Grackles.
I'll be anxious to see the answer to the brush pile bird; I can't seem to make it out but it's probably my old eye's. :-) Love your Eastern Phoebe!
Sorry, looks like a stick to me :)
Rose, I would love to go but not by myself.
Both great shots Pelle...your trips to Cape May have really paid off! If I was rich I would fly to NJ and we could go see the Stints!
Iris is correct about the "bird" in the brush pile...LOL! It was just a stick but I could have sworn I had found a new bird. Usually my new birds turn out to be leaves!! Pelle...my eyes are old too...so sad!!
We have lots of Grackles too but luckily they don't hang out all day.
They are now reporting it is 1 adult and 1 juvenile Red-necked Stint
Hmmmm . . . that sounds decidedly implausible, I fear someone has been indulging in a bit of wishful thinking. With these arctic waders, the adults migrate south about a month before the juveniles, it is very rare to see both age groups together. I'd not expect a juvenile Red-necked Stint to be that far from its natal area before early September.
Here is a close up...maybe someone can ID it for me!! LOL!
Ditto to irisMA!!
Resin
Hi Resin, There have been numerous reports about the Stint now. Only 1 report of adult/juvenile (so that one about the juvy) is probably wrong. I'll keep you updated.
Fantastic pictures! You all have some great birds around, too.
GP I think that is a Crow. It has similar looks and colors to the one I posted earlier
Nice pics everyone!!!
Easier to see a 'bird' on the computer than in the field.
