Margaret...I've been so busy gardening and doing various things around the new place. We are planning a trip or two over the next 2 weeks, so I will hopefully be able to find something...cannot wait...the body needs a rest.

Teresa, the Roadrunner, is so neat.
Burd_Fotos, are the flicker regulars at your place?

Sandusky, OH

Those 2 were just passing through, however a couple of years ago I had them for a longer period of time. The parents were training the young ones and they were around for about 2 weeks.

Thanks for the new thread Pelle...and what a gorgeous shot with that sunset pic!!

There is such a beautiful variety of birds on this thread I am truly blown away...it's like going on a birding trip and sitting on your butt while doing so!! Really gorgeous thread everyone!!

I spotted this Blue-gray Gnatcatcher outside the window on the Autumn clematis yesterday morning. This was shot through the window screen.

Thanks Pelle...I will be glad when I can take the screens off a few of the windows again. Here is a thru the screen shot of a Yellow Warbler from the other day. Wish I had been set up outside. I am so glad I let the Cockscombs come up here as the birds have really enjoyed them. I also had 2 Orioles on them yesterday morning.

Rose, by far you and Duc had some beautiful shots of birds enjoying your flowers/garden. There are so many interesting birds are posted here. I enjoy watching the pictures and forgot to post my own. ^_^

Joshua, TX

Yes indeed! There is a beautiful variety of birds on the new thread, and beautiful pictures. Burn, I've seen some black-capped chickadees the past couple of days. Guess they're migrating. They move around very quickly, very cute little birds. Nice pics:)

I saw these in the distance as I was going inside. Inset pic shows they are Laughing Gulls, not Kites, as I thought at first. (thanks,Resin).

Sorry, last ones are Laughing Gulls - the one in the inset, the "V-tail" is actually the left wing behind the tail ;-)
