Trade list for CS RU
Any one interested in lime trees? My son in law brought me a few...
My friend down the road is looking for a candle stick tree, does any one have a tree or maybe some seeds?
Thanks, Trishann
Trish
Can you provide a link to what that is exactly?
I just got a couple candle stick trees in a trade. I will be glad to bring one.
I would love a lime tree but I was told by a nursery you need 2 citrus for them to set fruit. I was asking because my friends never has fruit.
Thanks Sandy!! I will bring you a couple lime trees...
Anne, is there a thread for food? I would like to see what everyone is bringing so I can decide what to bring....
Trishann
Yes, someone put a link to it on the original round up thread. I'm too technologically declined to be able to manage that one, lol. BTW, I just got an email from Irene. She isn't a member but has participated in the last couple of round ups and communicates regularly with a few of us on Daves. I believe that she has a lot of petunias to offer. If you wish to trade with her let me know from here and I'll pass it on.
Anne
Anne, I would love to have a start of your amaranthus plant.... It is really pretty...
k, I'll supply the shovel. lol
Thanks Trish!!
AuntAnne I would love some too.
I was just given some fern, similar to Boston fern and lives well in the ground and I will be bringing some of it. I also found dayflower growing at my neighbors and will be bringing some. I pray this migraine will leave so I can get at least the day flower potted.
I did a lot I am not suppose to yesterday and am paying dearly for it. Oh well it needed done. The fern I will probably bring in a bucket of water.
If anyone has any pots no matter the size I would love to have them. I am working on having a small nursery in a couple years and can not locate any pots. I will take 2" up to the biggest. Please. On disability it just doesn't meet the bills. Thanks so much.
Blessings
Sandy

Hi, my name is Rachel and I live north of Bryan. I've never been to a RU - my sister goes to the one in East Texas and told me about it. I would like to know if the following items would be good to bring:
Mushroom compost
Compost tea
Rose cuttings (unrooted) - I have about 22 different roses, about 95% are the antique roses
Evergreen wisteria cuttings
Confederate jasmine cuttings
Dutchman's pipe
Pine needles
Lantana (native and yellow)
Gomphrena seeds
I am not sure what to bring, so I would appreciate feedback. If I bring cuttings, what is the best way to package them?
Thanks,
Rachel
Hi Rachel
Some people just use plastic cups, or you could use cut plastic drink bottles. You could just wrap the cuttings in damp paper towels and wrap in saran wrap.
Anne
Rachel, I'd like some compost tea & pine needles.
Are you looking for something particular?
LMK
Hi Rachel,
Glad you will be coming to the round up... Who is your sister? I was just at the ET RO last month....
I would love to have some rose cuttings...
Look for my list posted above and let me know what you want...
Thanks, Trishann
I am sorry to say we will not be making the swap this year. I have a chance to work this weekend and with money being the way it is, I am going for it. Maybe next year.
Oh, that's a pity, Ken. Maybe next spring, then.
Not gardening related, but . . .
I have quite a few really good quality jigsaw puzzles. Springbok brand. Is anyone interested? They are complete. Welcome to have them if you want to give them a good home.
I'm so sorry Ken, but understand completely. Hopefully next year.
Anne

Smockette - Smock had some little bulbs - green with silvery (sort of) spots on the leaves - the bulbs were sorta above ground - are you familiar with them?
I told him I had recently got some from the Walker County MG plant sale....and they were tagged "Scilla"....but smock had another name for them....and,....of course,.....I forgot the name. I wuz hopin' you would know! Lee
Send Smock an Email at
S_smock@sbcglobal.net
and ask him if they were 'Satin Checks'?
If so, I know what ya'll are talking about.
LMK
Will do! Thanks a bunch!
