I can't believe how time flies. Andrea sent me this picture last night with the caption...
"I'M 4 MONTHS AND I HAVE PIGTAILS!"
Emma's 4 months!
Oh my Louise ! She is so beautiful ! What a big girl she is.
I know and this picture makes her look so mature.
Thank you Rodica.
She is too cute!!
:-)
Oh Louise!! What a little darling. Will she be making an appearance at the RU??
I'm going to start begging DD real soon! I sure hope so.
Absolutely adorable! Hope to see her at the RU.
Louise, if your DD wants us to beg too, tell her we are willing to do it, just to have Emma with us.
Yep I can help beg too and you can remind her how well she will be taken care of I do have some experience :o)
Yep, most of us have plenty of experience. Many of us with the second generation!!!
How right you are DP.
Well, since it's here, we all don't have to do too much begging!
I will save the begging for my husband then. I need an outdoor kitchen. LOL
LOL!
She's already 4 months? My how the time does fly.
She is Beautiful!

Yup, hard to believe huh!?!!? Getting the cutest personality too! Thanks SW. We think she's cute!
Louise I see so much of you in her. I would also like to see some more pictures please :o)
I agree with Marie and I second her request for more pictures.
Alright, alright, I'll get some...sheesh! She's here today and sleeping but when she wakes up and after her bath, I'll get some good ones. I think she's kissing us now! She gets on your face and pushes her face into yours...and sucks cheeks! She sure is happy and most of the time is smiling.
Sucking cheeks! LOL What a sweetie!
I can't believe how adorable this baby is! Your family is so lucky to have her to hug and to love.
Thanks Kell! I've got to get more pictures up for you all to see, for sure.
I sure would love to see them! I will say her picture sure lights up this whole forum when I come here. Hard not to notice her and want to pick her up.
I'll pick her up for you when she's here, over and over and over again!
Where are those pictures :o)
She'll be here Wednesday, will get some then...hold your horses!!!!
I cannot hold my horses the last time I tried that I got my foot stomped :o) Tomorrow is a long ways off ........
it sure is....whoa nelly!
Second the motion for more Emma photos!
Do you ever play her tummy tuba? Used to be fun for me to do to the kids. They'd always giggle. Most surprising was when ES (then a toddler), insisted on playing his grandma's tummy tuba. Got lots of laughs about that one. Kids as musical instruments! LOL!
Have you seen the new Jack in the Box commercial? Cracks me up when someone tosses the babies' sleeper on his head and Jack replies, "AWW, come On!"

Haven't seen that commercial yet. Yes, I do play tummy tuba and it scares her!!!! You got to see her face!! Ok, tomorrow she'll be here and snap, snap, snap for you all!
I knew you were cool! : - D
Can't wait for photos.

My kids don't think I'm cool!
Who cares what they think? Tell them you are entering your second childhood, and you're going to do the things you wanted to do the first time around but didn't get a chance to do.
ES told me that even though he doesn't like "My Kind" of music, and especially doesn't like me singing loudly, he respects me 'cause, even though I know that others don't like it, I don't let their opinion stop me from doing what I enjoy. I think that is a compliment, am not sure. LOL!
If I recall, I hit every note from Linda Ronstadt's song "Blue Bayou", that day. He likes alternative Rock, while I like singer/songwriter (mellow) music. Mostly the acoustical versions. I like folksingers, blues, and I admit to listening to a lot of NAI music too.
My kids friends think I'm cool. My kids think I'm a PITA. Nature of the beast. Best part of getting older is allowing ourselves our "eccentricities". : - )
Smile, it makes them wonder what you are up to!
Don't blow as hard, just enough to wiggle your lips and whisper the tuba, and then hug her. Right now she is still easily startled, and that is as it should be. Has she started lifting her head yet and rolling over yet? Won't be long!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.
It's Wednesday and I am still waiting for pictures :o)
LOL dp!
SW, she's getting better at not being so scared but no, she is not lifting her head or rolling over. The days, they tell the new mom's to have their babies sleep on their backs, all 5 of mine slept on their stomach so if you notice today's babies, alot of them have a flat spot on the back of their heads. Oh, I don't have any problems hugging her! (I owe you a d-mail)
Geez Marie, Emma just got here at 8 and I had to feed her!!! I'll bathe her later and get her all cutesy then snap, snap, snap for you.
Glad you liked that Louise. I came across a book full of "Thoughts for the Day". Of them all, I laughed most at that one.
It kind of made me wonder if we'd met, sure sounds like me!
No, no, no, silly woman. I was describing myself!! LOL
