Semi Finished... with the new fridge...Cabinets will ultimately be white, and the walls will be a color...
And Nooooo the fridge does not stick out past that wall...It is actually 2 inches inside the edge of it....bad camera angle....LOL
I hope you all are well and getting ready for the winter holidays...

Home Sweet Georgia Home !!!
Dusty, what you doin up so late! Everything is looking so good. Love the front porch. What a difference from the original. I wish I had half your energy.
Dusty everything looks wonderful. I am amazed at how quickly you are getting everything done!!!
Dusty,
Just wanted you to know what fun it is to watch your progress. It all looks wonderful! Love your porch. Keep us posted!
Thank you all !!!
Susan... the biggest Blessing was getting HOME where I belong... ;-))
So good to see you here Marie!! Don't be a stranger!!
Becky, I am usually a Night Owl....Rarely in bed before now...
3G... I got those in FL from a man who did remodels on porches...He was going to scrap them and I asked how much and he said FREE.. I gave him $10 for gas to bring them to me, and less than 2 months later I found 2 more identical in a 2nd hand/antique store down there...I asked how much and they were $75 each....I have been dragging them around for 6 years now....LOL
Looking good, Dusty!
Hey there Sweet Pea!!! How are you ??? Are you still home in KY???
I'm remodeling my bathroom at the moment thanks to Habitat...Got a beautiful brand new white marble one piece counter and sink and faucet yesterday for $14...Took out that cubicle shower since there is one in the big tub...and took out the wall that was on one side of it...Looking good so far...I got an exterior door for the back wall that will lead out to the deck, donated by the guy I'm buying the house from... Hysterical story on that one....
He ordered the solid glass door with a sidelight from Lowes in a 36" door width...Cost....$2100.00
When it arrived, it was a 30", so he refused it...A couple weeks later, it was in the sale rack for $500.00 so he bought it, thinking to maybe use it when he enclosed his porch...It is brand new, still in the wrappings in his shed...I told him I was going to put a door to the deck in the bathroom so that when I eventually get my hot tub, I can go in and out in a wet suit straight into the bathroom without having to drip all the way through the house...I showed him the bathroom the other day when he came to get the old fridge, and he offered the door to me...I haven't quit laughing since....Can you imagine a $2100 door in my bathroom??? ROFLLLL
Hi Dusty! I see you have moved on to the kitchen and bathroom. You are quite a woman!!! I have not been on this forum in weeks. Just want to say "hello" and will come see you one of these days with more plants. Been very busy working here at home and doing everything else, but I think of you often. Take care.
Doris
Hi Doris!!! I have probably passed right by you several times in the last couple of weeks...I have been working at my sons new house that is on your road on the east side of 75....
George and his Arborist crew of 3 arrived Friday night, and got my son moved up from Kennesaw yesterday...They will be here to get that diseased maple out of the front yard this week...That is where the Vets garden and my flagpole are going to go...I got a 25 foot fiberglass pole from my sons new house that was intended to be a yard light pole...With the addition of a pulley and rope, it will be a dandy flagpole...;-))
Dusty, That will make a dandy flag pole and a great focal point for your front yard. I love the idea of a Vets garden. That will be a great tribute to our armed forces (past, present, and future). We owe them all a lifetime of gratitude. We'll never be able to repay the sacrifices they have made for us. I know you are staying busy. I'm glad your son got moved finally. We may have passed one another on the road and did not know it. Hope to see you in a few weeks with more plants.
Hey, Dusty! Yep...still in Kentucky, enjoying our beautiful weather and doing great! Getting caught up on lots of outdoor projects that I have had on my list for a couple of years.
Love hearing about your projects and great scores/finds!
Finally have our computer issues straightened out. It was something as simple as trying to access a 3G network when one isn't available here in our home area.
Later...
Hi All,
