No because the weathers been real bad and I'm not familiar with that place.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Gp, those palm like mighty dangerous, looks like a row of teeth, under that jay. Lovely photo.
Hope to see a Nuthatches sometime this year, seen one last year at the pond.
Duc the Osprey is really nice.
Love the baby Mockingbird, so sweet.

The Purple Finch are ruling the yard. Lots of them this year. But, not a lot of Goldfinches this year.

Nice shots, burn. I could be wrong but isn't your Downy Woodpecker actually a Hairy Woodpecker ? The bill seems too long for a Downy.

Marlton, NJ

It does look like a Hairy. Great shots burn!

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

Yep, Hairies - note the pure white outer tail feather.

Beautiful nanny!

Tiller, OR(Zone 8a)

The last time I stopped by the duck pond in Roseburg I saw at least 5 of these white doves.

Wow she is pretty tiger!

Gardenpom, that Jay is gorgeous in the palm.
Burn, your finch is so pretty. We have both the House and the Purple, but I can't tell the difference unless they're together. I envy you being able to photograph the juv. wp. Cute Goldfinch and Pine Siskin too.
Nanny, that's a gorgeous Pileated!!
Tiger, what a stunning Dove!! Wow.

The Canada Geese were showing off for me the other day.

Nice catches duc!

We were out on the lake and fully enjoying the mating rituals of the Western Grebes.
This was one happy pair.

Thumbnail by ducbucln
Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

As part of the mating ritual, they dive for weeds and appear to be placing the strings on each others bills.

Thumbnail by ducbucln
Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

They bob their heads up and down and then actually look like they're dancing on top of the water, then dive together.

Such wonderful pictures Duc! Oh wow, I love them all, but especially the C. geeses showing off. :-) and the mating ritual. It's almost like human offering a diamond ring ritual? LOL. It's nature at its best!

This Western Grebe was showing off his fish catch before eating it.

Just rub it in why don't ya? LOL.

Marlton, NJ

Oh my goodness duc those are so great! I sure hope you put some in Bird Files (especially the running on water).

Thanks SO MUCH for posting them!

Pelle

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

I'll be happy to Pelle, didn't think about that, thanks.

Lily, not rubbing it in, just remembering how much fun it is to be on the lake and watch wildlife in person. You have a beautiful lake and lots of beautiful birds too!

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Wonderful shots everyone...enjoying all of them. My OCD has kicked in big time and I am working in the garden!! LOL! Having a great time and saw a beautiful Pileated today. I hope it lands someplace where I can get a shot at it. I also think that we have 2 Little Blue Herons on the farm pond. I need to sneak up there in the early AM and try and get some pics...they spook very easily. I have been seeing them for the past week and think one of them landed in the dead tree the other day.

Our 3rd nest of Bluebirds fledged eleven days ago and I got to witness all 4 of them leave the box successfully. Here is a shot of the female that just completed her 4th nest!

Here is one of 2 adult males...I'm not sure if this is the Daddy Blue or not!
