Wonderful pics Marna! Thanks for starting the new thread!
Wow GP, My Red-bellieds won't even stay on the tree if the squirrels come near them. Nice shots!
Thanks, Pelle. The female was not about to give up her suet. She keeps taking beakfuls away to feed a young one.
Oh cute dee!! Ours are just begining to come back aroun to the feeders a bit. I miss them!
Thanks Nanny, they must be busy with the raising of young ones still.
Nice Shots All! Found a nice spot 15 minutes away that has gotten me 2 new birds so far, the other day it was the Blue Gray Gnatcatcher, today I got a few shots of a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Correct me if I,m wrong... there were 5 of these lil fellows hanging out in a small tree. I have one shot that was ok.
And here's a young Indigo Bunting. Funny I've been trying to get a shot of the adult at somewhere near eye level (always up high singing) and I got this shot while waiting for the Osprey. I had not clue what kind of bird this was but it kept coming near me. I did not get the best picture because I had the focus distance switch on the wrong settings so I only got 2 decent shots.
Great shots Met, Burd and Adel!
Met, great catch on the young Indigo!
Love those very berry grosbeak shots Adel!
Great pics Burd!
rain= weeds; therefore, no turkeys looking for a good place for a dust bath--at least the weeds have a good use this time.
There are plenty of bugs in our woods. They do their dusting in our garden which throws plants around.
Nice shot of the Night Heron!
You sure have a lot of wildlife out your way, red. I was outside and a Pileated Woodpecker flew over, but much too fast for a pic.
Hi Reddirt - could you add that Cardinal photo to this thread as well, please?
