Thanks for a really enjoyable thread, Burd. I love the pic of the Great Egret in the waves.

Yet another trip to the Marsh. Have some of the regular's still hanging around, plus got some new one's for my list. I seen more birds today than I ever have. Lots of berry bushes that were ripe, and some that will be ripe next week. :)

Start off with a Mallard

Beautiful, Burd. Don't undersell yourself. That's a great shot of the Mallard in flight, as is the one of the Egret over the waves. Thanks for sharing.

Though not completely positive on Id, Pine Warbler which would be new for me. Also got confirmation on a Blue-headed Vireo also new. Not sure if this would be my last trip here for the year or not, depends on the weather. But Sheldon's Follies was a great time this year for sure.

Terrific series Burd...some really beautiful shots and a great variety! I am particularly envious of the Black-throated Blue Warbler...you did well to get a shot at the beauty!

Marlton, NJ

That is a great variety Burd!

Dover AFB, DE(Zone 7a)

What a great place to go birding!

(I'm glowing green with envy!)

Well if I had just took the binocs and a checkoff list I would've done really well. But its fun to come home, upload my pics to the pc and share with family and friends. Thanks for all your comments!! :)

I'm with JuneyBug - consumed with envy. What a magical spot! I'd love to go to Sheldon's Folley, with you for a guide.

How long do the warblers remain in the fall?. Should be in Huron in mid-Oct & it better not rain!

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

Sorry, there won't be any warblers left in Huron that late . . . and I suspect it's more likely to snow than rain there then ;-)
