Western Kingbird. I have had a lot of Flycatchers this year. Kingbirds, Scissor-tails, Eastern Wood Pewees, Great-crested Flycatcher, Acadian Flycatcher.
DAILY PICS #232
Nice shots borders! Looks like a great birding spot!
Handsome Kingbird red!
Great pix everyone, I especially enjoyed seeing those egrets in large number. What a treat! Thanks Watercan2.
A day without my pc connection due to bad storm left me out of the loop. Took me a long time to visit all the post yesterday. All the flycatchers may have migrated north? I had a brood of Carolina wrens that fledged before the storm, I think they did okay.
While birding around my neighborhood, I was delighted to have found this Redheaded Woodpecker:
Thx Grammusen, Nice Photo's Red and Border's. Those Phoebe's, and EWPewee's I need to work on a lil harder, the EKBird seem's to have a dark top and light bottom which also throw's me off.
