Oh I haven't seen Green heron around here, great pictures Chris! Nice ones everyone. Hubby and I spotted a Common Loon the other day but I couldn't get a pix. :((

Nice pics all. Adelbertcat love the Towhee. It's been avoiding me. I see them, accidentally walk up on them but can't get a decent shot of this bird but I will eventually get'm.
Here's some of the latest Osprey shots from yesterday. First set is the female feeding the last Osprey that has not fledge yet. Second set is the baby prepping for the eventual flight

Wow! love the Osprey shots. I took my last trip of the nesting season to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm rookery. Most of the adults are gone, except for a few pairs of Great White Egrets that must have lost their first hatchlings, and are feeding a second set of chicks. Lots of young birds hanging around the rookery, building up the confidence to head out to the intercoastal waterway to feed.
