This Bald Eagle was showing off it's catch of the morning. There's nothing sweeter than to be working in the flower garden and hearing these eagles screeching over our heads.

Well, maybe these two pictures will top the last one...

One of the younger eagles was perched in a tree about 40ft away from us as we were walking up our road.

A longer lens would have really been good here. I did walk a little closer for this shot and it just watched me. Such a breathtaking sight! I asked it if it would take off for a motion photo, but it just sat there.

Nice pics all. Adelbertcat love the Towhee. It's been avoiding me. I see them, accidentally walk up on them but can't get a decent shot of this bird but I will eventually get'm.

Here's some of the latest Osprey shots from yesterday. First set is the female feeding the last Osprey that has not fledge yet. Second set is the baby prepping for the eventual flight

For you MargaretK

Nice Osprey shots, Met. And, great shot of the hawk.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

Wow! love the Osprey shots. I took my last trip of the nesting season to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm rookery. Most of the adults are gone, except for a few pairs of Great White Egrets that must have lost their first hatchlings, and are feeding a second set of chicks. Lots of young birds hanging around the rookery, building up the confidence to head out to the intercoastal waterway to feed.
