It's my honor to start a new Daily Pics #231 thread. Time flies when you are having fun and taking lots of photos. I'm in TX for a few days and haven't been taking any bird pics, so I'll go back a couple of days and start off with a couple of pics from one of my hummingbird feeders.

Not a bird, but this little bugger is so cute, I thought I'd post him again. He likes to sit on this HB feeder early in the morning while the sprinklers are going off. He's a Gray Treefrog.

That feeder was a Mother's Day gift to my wife from the kids. She loves it, too!
Great start red. The feeder is beautiful and I'm sure the hummers love it. I think the goo on the bill is from the neighbors fruit trees.

turned out it was more interested in the string.

While skiing my DH this morning, we spotted some unidentified Doves and a whole colony of nests for the cliff swallows. How exciting!

The nest is in the gutter right on top of the downspout. Last Saturday evening we had a really hard downpour. I was so worried about them, but they survived! Heck of a place to build a nest.
