a few new pictures, tree swallow
Daily pics #229
Wonderful pics Chris! I love the Tree Swallow.
Me too, love that tree swallow Chris. Your Redheaded wp makes me smile. Since I couldn't get one that clear to share. :-)
I wish I cold have got a better shot of him. It was one of those times when you see a glimpse and stop the car, then jump out for a to get a quick shot. I also missed a great chance to get some pictures of a Least Bitterns this morning. I guess you win some and lose some.
Beautiful photos Chris! That baby Tree Swallow is adorable and the wps are so cute. Love that attitude look on the dove. Great job!!
I have only once seen a red-headed wp. Pleased to see the photo--quite a bill. Makes are little downies look useless. although the one which hammers on the house is not.
That what I need next to come...a Red-headed Woodpecker. We have only ever seen one once in the yard and that was the first summer we were here.
So many cool pics...
Great Pic's Everyone!! :))
Beautiful shots everyone and Lily congrats on the return of your babies!!
No pictures, but female oriole working over the tulip tree. They are one of the birds that really like them & you would have to have the right camera & be very quick to get a photo.
Sorry Mrs. Ed, guess we posted at the same time. Love your water and the Catbird!
Marna, I love those shots of the Catbird!
Great pics guys!
Thanks pelle and duc. I have to do some work in the pond to get a spot that is a bit more shallow for the smaller birds. I see nothing smaller than house finches and house sparrows bathing there. I'd like to get the wrens, chickadees and goldfinches to partake.
Can't beat eagles showing up for the 4th of July!! It rained all day here...
