Loca, its definitely humid here, no denying it.. and it reaks havoc on my poor maters.

Just came back in and I am ever so tired of battling the yellow aphid thingy's... there is only room for ONE life sucking creature in this yard.. and IM it!!!

bad news is, while I may have won the battle (but not yet the war) with the aphids, the skeeters, on the other hand, have defeated me yet again. I know their secret! they are small, compact, and travel in herds...LOL. there's a million of them and only one of me.. and unfortunately, I am allergic to them, so looks like another painful swollen night for me :(. But never fear, that aint a problem a little citronella and alot of ''OFF" wont take care of!

Oh hey girlfriend. You are new here aren't you? Yes yours will go out monday. Didn't want to mail this late in the week because of 4th holliday. Not sure when the post office will be off. But I'm sending you some Moses in the basket and gardenia and purple tulip tree clippings. That was all you wanted wasn't it?

Orlando, FL

well i think we need a clue before we start.

Cue did you try putting listerine in a spray bottle and spray all around you when you go out? It works pretty good here and with my water gardens, we got plenty of them boogers. You don't have to soak anything just mist it around you. It helps. They don't like the smell of it.

Monticello, KY(Zone 6b)

No I'm not new here LOL least I don't think so I sorta remember teasing cue chick about a black calla lily which I'm still wating on to arrive. I read the posts just don't always jump in. Yes on the moses in basket and gardenia cuttings didn't know about the tulip tree clippings but if you want to send them I'll take them LOL seem to remember a niece wanting one of those and she has a pecan tree that is bearing finally hmmmmm. Next week to mail is fine with me just didn't want you to forget about me.

Cue - I HATE aphids. Those buggers are hard to get rid of for sure, plus they bring creepy ants with them.

Can you blame the skeeters for being soooooooo bloodthirsty? Isn't that like calling the kettle black so to speak?

I sure don't miss them skeeters.........

Worked all last week helping my son move and we were suppose to be on vacation but me and the OUTside as in camping don't agree too much so I run in and hug the air a lot. My husband likes fishing and being outside. We finished up his moveing this week and I finally got my truck back wednesday. We'll be at the river again this weekend for a cookout with them. It is cooler there than here. But I have animals here so I'm in and out to see about them.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Robin must be busy trying to figure out where to hide the new thread and the scramble.

Thanks for the countdown blondie!!

Skeeters, aphids but got ladybugs too and they eat the aphids. We did have some biting flies with lacy black wings that sting or bite the instant they hit you but they seem to be going for now. Got them jap. beetles trying to eat all my green plants and LOTS of big black BUMBLE BEES. Not to mention hornets, wasps and scorpions. Then there are the yellow jackets that build in the ground and wait for you to walk over them or cut weeds over them so they can get you, I fill those holes full of gas. And the biggest problem of all--- the fire ants and the termite ants. EVERYWHERE.

Orlando, FL

i was really bored can you tell need some brain food

Orlando, FL

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Now for the good critters, 13 chickens that lay colored eggs 5 pygmy goats, 2 dogs, 2 cockatiels and 1 kitten and a partridge in a pear tree.
