Would that be an Orchard Oriole? This pic is not clear but I thought it was the male and mate to the other.
Daily pics #227
Awesome photos, you folks. Such a joy to scroll through. Not much in the way of unusual birds around my house. But with your stunning pics, who needs 'em!
Linth, that Osprey is standing on one leg! Amazing!

f_chisolm that's the Prothonotory warbler you got...pretty bird. One of the places I go I've seen it and have heard it but can get a shot of it.

Yep, the second pic is Prothonotory Warbler; the first, I'd agree female Orchard Oriole, given the fairly short bill and tail (it was late last night when I posted before and didn't have time to check exactly which then!)

Wonderful variety Frank!
Really nice Frank! So many varieties. Amazing, Rose I spotted one Goldfinche yesterday too. Are they now passing by Northern States and heading my way? Please say yes. lol. Love all the pictures. Pelle, I haven't seen my Robins lately, they must be visiting at your place?
The pileated came back...it was female. She came and was around for about 20 minutes last night eating.
Sweet pic Rose! Mine are very timid about coming in due to all the House Finch and Sparrows around. Sometimes I'll see them just before dark.
Well it is time to start a new thread. I've been away for a few days and am behind, but will be back to look at your photos. You can continue to add your pictures here:
