linth, I'm impressed with the bush that warbler is in. What is it?
A couple of poor shots of a Green Heron that has been on the ponds recently. It was almost dark and he just won't let me get close to him. He has the most beautiful blue-green plumage with a rufous throat. Maybe I can get some better pics with an early morning shot.

Nan, I love the Me & Dad serries of the Cardinal and the Woodpeckers. Those Pealletes never venture this far South! They're neat looking.
Coolest shots of the birds in the bath. Daneaj.
Duc, those Orioles are gorgeous, the last few pictures are just as pretty as ancient Chinese paintings.
Linthicum,
The 'Prairie Warbler' photos are an outstanding!!! Such beautiful, bright, bold colors. A truly magnificent photo.
I have to agree Duc those pictures with the Orioles on the hollyhocks are very impressive. What is your camera of choice, if you don't mind me asking.
Thank you Lily and DaneaJ. I have Canon Rebel XTi. Lily, congrats on the Gfinch sighting.
Wonderful pictures, Lin. Nice color and clarity!
Great pics Linth!
I love the Thrasher.
I'm not certain what bush the Prairie Warbler is in but I'' see if I can find out.

Hard to tell, juv Pileateds are not so distinct as most other woodpecker juvs; from Sibley the only difference is the eye colour, mid-brown in adults, dark in juvs. I'd say it'd need a better resolution pic to tell for sure!

Awesome Linth!
