Janet how I wish I could. I might be able to make it to Kay's with a pain pill but then I would have to stay inside. I can't be out in the sun or I pass out. Ask Kay and Delisa!!! I was sick as a dog and slept all day last Oct when Delisa and I went. 5 minutes and I almost hit the ground. 5 of my meds I can't be in direct sunlight I found out. I scared them half to death and myself as well

I give everybody credit to know all those names lol I never knew there was so many out there I know I have only scratched the surface with this stuff are you interested in heiliconias too? Just started to get into those last year this year I am trying grow seeds for fun anybody else doing this maybe learn some thing?
I used to grow about 40 different heliconia, but they are real space hogs in the GH. I always found it much easier to grow them from rhizome starts. I sold (when I had my nursery business) and traded away all of them except for Rostrata, Episcopalis and hirsuta, schiediana, Splash, Pedro Ortiz and latispatha and got 2 variegated ones later (El Tigre and bihai lemai). I have photos of a lot of mine when they were at their glorious best, LOL.
Those are all very beautiful. I can't wait til mine bloom. The white butterfly is the only one of mine that I have had long enough to see the flowers.

I am so sorry to hear you are on so many meds that keep you inside. If you ever feel up to it, just let me know. Of course, we wouldn't want you to overdo it.

girl you should see it now. They cut all the pines in front opening it all up so you can see the pond from the front porch. Have it all remodeled and decorated now except for outside. Either need to paint or put vinyal siding. Really want to put vinyal siding. Got your call. Yes getting packages daily. Doing School Clothes, Halloween, Christmas and Birthday shopping for the boys.
It sounds wonderful. I am sure you are so happy with the results. I am working nights 8pm to 430 am, well mostly, sometimes go in early or stay late, but that is my schedule.
