With my usual grace and finesse....NOT....I planted this poor little Silvia upside down.She has babies on both ends.Should I cut off the top ones and sacrifice them? I don't know what else to do.

LOL Nope, Lynn, just let them grow a little longer. As soon as you think they're ready, cut off that top part of the leaf and pot them up. They will most likely put out roots right away (if they don't already have some - I can't tell from the picture). Never give up on a plant. Most times they'll surprise you and pull through like the troopers they are!

Lynn, I hate to laugh but I have to!! That is priceless looking.

It is kinda cute...LOL. But it doesn't compare to the X-rated tomato I grew a few years ago.Lets just say I was accused of feeding it Viagra.

I am simply amazed that roots would form on the top of the leaf!! What fun that would be^_^

I am just surprised that since I planted it upside down it is growing babies on the top and in the dirt (soiless of course).

My life is a series of comedies!! I can't go get my cortisone shot tomorrow and have to wait until next Tuesday because:
I went to Ace Hardware today on my knee that doesn't work (LOL) to get a pressure sprayer to spray Avid. (I know a lot of people don't do this, but I do just in case I have something........more of 'I will get you bugs before you have a chance to cause me any damage on my plants'............

When I got home, I mixed it all up in my new pressurized sprayer before I had on my goggles, mask and long sleeve jacket. Lo and behold, the sprayer was defective with a hole in it and the poison was spraying all over me, the counter, the floor and I couldn't find where all this spray was coming from until I was drenched in it. So, I don't want to take a chance on mixing the cortisone with all the poison my body is working on getting rid of.....................my clothes were drenched!!!

So.................I will go back tomorrow and try to find a good pressurized sprayer so I can get a fine mist rather than a spray.

When I opened DG just now I see all these advertisements at the top. I have never seen them. What has happened? Does anyone know why I am seeing them and is there a way to not see them?

I see them all the time. One of them always keeps me from clicking forums.

Such beautiful pictures....as always (smile).My life goes a little like that too.The time I had just finished staining some wood and thought it was dry,applied Clorox,was overcome by fumes,rescue squad....the time I picked up the wrong can and sprayed my hair very generously with Pledge....and the infamous time I was leaving for work and a bird decided I was a litter box.....LOL....at least my boss believed me,because nobody would make that up!!And so on.....
Connie,I don't know if I still have a picture of that tomato (and I woudn't want to offend anyone that doesn't have a quirky sense of humor).^_^. There were more than one,but one was especially different......It was such a guy thing one of my DH's buddies begged for us to give it to him and we may have given him the picture too.If I run across the picture I will Dmail it to you.

I can either laugh as I get older or cry. Crying is not nearly as much fun as being able to laugh about what age does to me!

OMG! Does it have to do with age...LOL Shhhhhhh!!!!!

This is one of those little streps I got on ebay from Kathy--Much to my surprise, the little son of a gun bloomed! I looked it up on the strep site--says it's a prolific bloomer--This one is a keeper! After this stalk blooms, I will dis- bud to give it a chance to grow. I nearly lost Goose Egg by letting it bloom too much when little.

I lost all but 2 from Kathy on ebay..........makes me sad that I lost so much money...........do you know her name? She is lovely! Kathy did partial refund me on the second order.......but I lost all the first order that I did not get or ask for any refunds. I had to be silly twice ^_^

The only good thing is that I still have two of my favorites. One is Indigo Blue and the other (I can't think of the name)..............
