My Indigos and Painted Buntings have disappeared from the feeders. I did see a male Painted Bunting yesterday on the creek across the road. I suspect they are busy with younguns'.
Daily Pics - Vol 226
Your Indigo pic is awesome, Rose!
Met, nice sharp photos of the Red-winged Blackbird and Grackle. By the way, the Summer Tanager photos were taken at Patuxent North Tract, back by the power lines. Not too much action the last time I was there. Lots of Cedar Waxwings and Prairie Warblers.
Rose, great clarity, as always. Nice close-up of the Indigo Bunting. They're usually sitting at the tip top of a tree when I see them.
Like this one taken on Wednesday. I'm not sure if this is a juvenile or if it is molting ?
Adel, that must have been so exciting for you. I have two little ones that look like they'll be leaving one of the houses in a day or two, but have never been there in time to watch them actually leave. Great timing!!
Linth, that S. Tanager is beautiful! That last one is just beautiful!!
Burd, great bird too!!
Meth, love the Red-winged pictures!! I've been looking forward to more of your Grackle photos. Great job.
Rose, beautiful Jay, Bunting, G.finch and Cardinal. Such pretty colors!
One of my Orioles.
Wonderful shots guys!!!
Beautiful scene Lily!
Those babies titmouse are sooooo cute! Lucky babies, for St. Francis loves all creatures large and small. lol.
Lily, there is no "just" in your Pekin Duck picture. Looks like a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Cute Wren and that Nuthatch baby is adorable.
Frank, your Titmouse is another cutie. I have some pictures of one of mine too. Friends have said these little guys remind them of a teddy bear. Great job.
Thanks Duc. LOL, Adel.
Adel...LOL!!!!
awww....Frank such cuties!!
That tanager is beauty Linth!
Fragile, fragile! More fragile than chinas in your cabinet. lol.
I think I spotted one of those Cotton Finch. May I add it to my life list?
Great shots Burd!
Thx I think the young Cottontail just want's to be apart of something, he doesnt eat the food but will run up there anyways, pic's are from my parent's house, I betting the old man has been throwing bread out there, because he been complaining about all the Grackle's lol.
I know its a juvy but not sure if its a Flicker or Red-bellied WP
Red-bellied WP - flickers don't have any white barring on their back or wings, just black on brown
Resin
So many wonderful pics on this thread!!!
I have to back track a bit.
Frank, I love those Titmouse shots!
