Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

let's face it... we are all just a bunch of gardening HOTTIES!!!

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Hot is right - it's REALLY HOT here in NW Florida, with no rain in sight - thank GOD for the in-ground automatic sprinkler systems!!!

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

Been awful hot here, too. And the humidity has been high which is not the norm here. Tuesday we worked at the barn all day digging out some stalls and DH sweated like crazy. His BS dropped and I usually bring something for him to eat but had left home in a hurry that morning and forgot. Had to go to the neighbors for a snack and he was soon okay. That night at a prayer cell group we go to, it dropped dangerously low again. His meds are going to have to be adjusted to take this heat and humidity into consideration. He is fine now, but we will be working in the heat again today so I will take a picnic basket with us! LOL

Here are 3 of my favorite guys. DH, DGS and my yearling, Tug. I am raising him to be my next saddle horse. He just made a year on 6/6 so he is a baby yet. We let DGS sit on him now and again to get him used to the idea. He is such a good boy.

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Al, if I did hunt you down and 'find' you, I wouldn't know what to do with you! LOL

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

Al, what an incredible garden for such a handsome guy. Love your sunflowers! I have some Mammoth that are blooming. For some reason, I can't get mine to go taller than 6ft. I have neighbor that has 10ft ones. What are the plants in the front?

Hornell, NY(Zone 5a)

Just don't bring any guns! I'm gonna quiet down before I get in more trouble here.. LOL

Al

Hornell, NY(Zone 5a)

Hi Lili

Knee high plant in front is Butterstick Squash from Burpee's. It's a yellow zuch type, delicious raw in salads (like sliced cukes), I also saute with fresh onions, mushroooms and olive oil.

Other flowers are generic zinnias, lots of them.

Al

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Well, thanks for that note! I was beginning to feel embarassed about my garden if your zone 5 was that far ahead. Now I can breathe again!

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

Mmm sounds good. I'm coming over for dinner. :) I love zinnias. waiting for mine to flower.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I transplanted some generic 'Tall Mixed' Zinnia a few weeks ago, they seem to be growing just great. have no idea how tall 'Tall' zinnias grow, will be fun to find out tho

Maybe I'll throw some mini steaks on the grill, be serving medium rare around 7 PM. Bring some beer.

OK. This is what I really look like. I donated some of my plants for sale at Relay for Life. Somebody stuck a panama hat on me and a lei-lei.

Nice display BrightStar! I sold a bunch of tomatoes at a recent 4H benefit. I started over 200 of them, sold them fast for a dollar each. It's fun to get out with the garden gang.

Al

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

cue_chik, my california giants zinnias get as tall as 5ft.

Al, sorry I missed dinner. I love steak on the grill.
