Thanks for starting the new thread!

A few days ago we had a little bit of sun for a short while. I saw this beautiful Blue Jay sunning himself in these neat positions.

Great opening with all the adorable babies, Met. Thank you for the new thread. The Blue Jay sun bathing is lovely Pelle.

Here are my gardener's helpers doing their guard duty by the docks. lol.

Great scene Lily!! Just beautiful.

Thanks Pelle, my big dog he's over 3 years old. The ducks finally successfully lured him into the water. That was a sight!

LOL, Oh that is funny Lily! Wish I could have seen that.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Oh these are better pix of the two mischievious ones. They knew just how to draw the dog out into deep water then flew off. Smart birds!

They're really fun to watch. But this male Cardinal is watching me -- the woman with the camera, I think. lol.

No doubt about that Lily! Nice shots!

Lily the Cardinal picture looks 3D. It looks as if the background is a billboard or backdrop and the picture sort of pops out in front of it.

No problem Pelletory and thanks

Credit that pix to my Panasonic Lumix 10 mega pixels. I just put it on intelligence mode and shoot away. Thanks Met. Here is another shot of the Carolina chickadee (?), I've tried all morning to capture a titmouse without success. :((

Good one Lily. The Titmouse are a difficult subject but so darn cute!

Finally! Here is the little darling. I've noticed they prefer sun flowerseed (titmouse does). Once they search and found the seed they will fly up to the tree branch and cracks the seed open then. But lately with the challenges of the cage feeder, many birds turned to the suet feeder instead.

Good job getting the little speedster!

Fantastic photos, Methodical. You're doing the new lens proud.

I love the Bluejay sunning itself, Pelle. Birds will find the hottest part of the yard at the hottest time of day to do so.

Love the ducks, Lily_love. You do live in a very beautiful place.

Met, your starting photos were excellent! Love that baby Cardinal. It's every bit as pretty as mom and dad. Cut Cowbird and Titmouse. Beautiful WPs!! Wow, love them all.

Pelle, your Jay is gorgeous and the fence sure made a great backdrop.

Lily, cut pups you have there. They look so cute watching the ducks. Cute Chickadee.

Found these Cliff Swallows at a local park on the lake.

There were some of them in nest holes.

and this one had to make a roof for her nest.

they were in a group of dead trees. I counted at least three occupied nest holes. Some were resting on top of the trees.
