The Divine Sock

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Let's not talk about moths. Many years ago I bought a hand painted needle point canvas, worked for almost a year. Finished and put it into a bag. Later when I took it out of the bag there as holes eaten in it. Darn.

(Zone 7b)

Oh Wren you know them darn Candle Fly's are a part of living in the south what would that old yellow porch light be without them flittin around it LOL

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

ZZ, you are going to be an inspiration to us all. I am so excited to keep up with your journey and your re-discovery of the wonderfulness of yourself. Be open to everything and be afraid of nothing.

Catscan. Three words. Zip Loc Baggies. :-)

Plus, I have a whole bunch of herbal anti-moth stuff. WHOLE BUNCH!!! It's all good.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Thanks Wren. She's gonna need it!

(Zone 7b)

Oh My Goodness sending all i can for the little one thoughts, wishes ,prayers for the sweet baby.

ZZ Good Luck on your adventure sounds like a wonderful journey {:~)

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

She just took about 1/4 cup of prepared colostrum from the bottle. That is a good sign. Plus she did a little pee and poop too, which is also good. Shows her digestive system is working properly. Looks like I have a bottle lamb on my hands, but that's OK, I can love her to pieces as much as she needs.

Clarkson, KY

She # 3 of 4, Claire? beautiful....

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Yes, Grow, she is #3. #4 didn't make it. #1 and #2 are fine, at least they appear to be.

But now, her name is Marshmallow. :-) Because she's white and fluffy.

Lodi, United States

I hope she makes it. "Divinity" would be a nice lamb name with "Marshmallow". "Meringue"?

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

She made it through the night with strong feedings at 2 am and 5 am. She is really doing well right now.

She has the "I am a lamb of leisure" look this morning. She will be going to work with me so that I can keep up with the 4 hour feedings.

(Zone 7b)

Claire i'm SO! happy she is doing so well!!!!! and they allow sheep where you work?????

Clarkson, KY

Ask ZeeZ, JKJ --I lost it...something to do with Catsy knitting (k pronounced) for and from Claire's collection of wool, clear?

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

now i'm really lost. please come find me.

Richmond, TX

You can't get there from here. But I've been lost throughout the entire thread, so I'd be no help.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

so i can't get there from here?

(Zone 7b)

I think I can I believe that Catscan was knitting some socks for Claire made out of some of Claire's Beautiful wool.

The thread got side tracked along the way by some funny stuff and then Claire showed us her new Baby Sheep which were born quads.
One was born dead but 2 Have done fine the other one was not doing so well but is better this morning and going to work with Claire.

Oh and way back up there ZZ said she was going to become a long haul truck driver.

I think thats it {:~)

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

thanks for finding me. i was starting to get scared

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Claire glad the baby is doing better.

jordankittyjo There are some very funny, fun threads on this forum and the best thing is just go with the flow. That's why I love this forum even thought I can not keep chickens-thought I am threatening the city that I am going to get sheep to eat the so called grass they put down outside my fence.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

hi sandy, how have you been?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Not bad except for last nigh. DM had one of her spells and we spent half the night at the ER she is fine now but I need a nap.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

sorry to hear that
sweet dreams

Testing testing, my post are missing... TESTING

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

you're here, test complete

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Thank you so much.... I posted a rather funny one, but it did not go

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Little Lamb Marshmallow is sitting on my lap at my desk, sleeping while I type.

No, normally animals are not allowed where I work but it's a complex of about 10 interconnected buildings and about 1500 employees, so nobody will really notice a lamb in my office. All my coworkers in my department are thrilled and keep coming for little visits. Since she needs to be bottle fed every few hours, I didn't have much choice. Either I took a vacation day or brought her in.

(Zone 7b)

Is it *Over* *Done* has the sock been washed and hung out to dry?? {:~(

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Okay.. another thing.. the sock was rather large so only big foots like me and was it Claire get to waller in the divinity of the sock?
Who has a big foot?

I do I do said the Sasquatch..

Oh no.. the funny stuff again..............LMHO

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

ZZ no comment about being stuffed in my pickup for the great escape from Cali??

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Who says I have big feet? I have normal feet, size wise. I think.

I keep checking my mailbox for the sock. It is taking the scenic route.

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

How rude of me!!! Miss J..That was very heartwarming and sweet of you!! You have to excuse me for I don't have much time on here, and when I do I have about a 3 second attention span that I can't seem to control..

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Also, Miss J... I was thinking of how many chickens I could stuff in there!!

Lodi, United States

MissJestr, ZZ might fit--but for her unnaturally large feet. I fear trucking will be her only avenue of escape.

And no, the socks were not that large--they were Lady's Small/Medium. But the aura surrounding them--it was ENORMOUS.

Didn't someone here say they have rather large feet beside ZZ? Come on--make her feel better.

"Funny stuff" in a thread entitled "The Divine Sock"? Mais non!

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

That's why I crank the seat all the way back.. I can still reach the pedals with my toes..

knee high to me is thigh high to you..

Anyway.. My mommy said if 1/2 my leg didn't turn under as a foot, I'd a been 8'2" tall.. so there! Never see me fall over forward do ya??? LOL

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

I have HUGE Feet, you can tell by the size of my cowboy boots...
ZZ I have a Long Bed on the pickup, we can stuff 12 bales of hay on there, so I am thinking we can get about 100+ chickens in there, wrap it with chicken wire so they cant fly out, sit you in the middle so you are surrounded by chickens, they will never find you...

(Zone 7b)

I wear a size 10 sometimes 11 and i have wide feet and short stubby toes my DH says they look like flintstone feet LOL
