How soon will a new Subscription be available?

Hi,
Just purchased one for a friend that was not a paying member. Now the Search says it cannot find her :(

I was going to send her a Dmail to welcome her to DG.

I just clicked on buy a membership for a friend. Sent it by Paypal.

You didn't have to fill out any info? no user name? contact DG themselves, they will help you.
go to top of page, click on About Us, and scroll down to contact us. They will help you find it.

I'm assuming that she had a username here otherwise I don't think you wouldn't have gotten all the way to Paypal since you have to enter a person's username to get to that part (unless you accidentally renewed your own subscription instead of buying one for her). You might try looking for her again, maybe you just mis-spelled her username. Even if there was some hiccup with you buying the subscription for her, her username would still be around, those never go away. And you can dmail people who don't have paid subscriptions, so when you go into dmail and type in her name it should still come up. I also don't know where you were searching for her--if you were using the search box at the top of the page that's probably not the best way to look for people, I'd either go to the member list or else go into dmail and compose a message and type her name in there.

In order to look someone up, here's the link to the member list, you just type their name in and it'll take you to their member page http://davesgarden.com/community/memberlist/ There's also a link to the member list on the side of the page in the navigation box. If you type the name in there and the person's page doesn't come up, check to make sure that you spelled their username correctly.

that's the second time when I 'copy and paste',,,it has pasted something else that I had copied. almost like it doesn't recognize the new copy...
