can I have an option to make my 'want list' private?

Hi Dave,

I love the want list feature and that I can add anything I'm looking at in plantfiles to my list, but I only use it for my own personal list of things I might want. I don't want to confuse other people who see it, and want to trade with me. I'm just starting out and don't have anything to trade yet. Is there an option where I can make my list invisible to others?

If you go into your list of wants in your tradelist, you should see an option for "disable" on every entry, if you click that then it makes it inactive. Once you have things and want to trade, you can click "enable" to activate it. But you don't necessarily need to disable it just because you don't have anything to trade--some people are happy to send things for postage. And since everyone who can see your want list can also see your empty "have" list, anyone who initiates contact with you to offer you a cutting knows that you don't have anything to trade is probably willing to trade for postage.

Thank you Ecrane!! You have the answers for everything! And Dave, he has such a great user-friendly website. I love it! I'm not even trading for postage now in this economy, but I'm so glad we have this feature and the option to disable/enable!
