Hey peeps! Jan, Red Bank - reminds me of old town America with their neat antique shops and Molly Pitcher Inn is such a beauty.

Venu - what's up neighbor?! I'm right near Monmouth Park Race Track. I'm like at the boundary of Long Branch and West Long Branch. Your Eisvogel looks great!

Here's mine:

This one I separated from one of the matured bushes this early spring. Did not expect much of it, but now it's rewarding me.

This little bush I bought at Lowe's for $6.00 late March this year. Now double in size and got one huge lonely bloom.

Can anybody top this??!! He, he! My 20 foot or so tall Hydrangea Pee Gee Tree. Crape Myrtle on the left. And below the Mrytle tree is a huge late flowering Clematis. Not shown on the picture is an 8 feet tall hardy Hibiscus on the left. All flowers almost at the same time around mid-late summer.

Attack of the killer Tomatoes!
Last year we grew them almost 7 feet tall. Funny, I don't even eat fresh tomatoes. I just like them in soups, stews, or sauces.

Gosh Darn, Tex....I'm coming over for the omelet! I do like fresh sliced toms, so if mine don't fruit up, you'll find another gremlin in your vegetable patch, I am a bit bigger than yours though :)

Looking good, Louise, love those begonia snails.

Tex, looking great! I'll be coming over for some eggplant omelets. I used to work at Monmouth Mall. Is the Windmill still there? Used to get a hankering for chili dogs every so often and go down there on our lunch hour. I love Red Bank, haven't been in ages, there was a wonderful italian bistro on Front St(I think).

I luv the begonia snails venu! Texas68 nice veggie beds. I hope the 'Gremlins' are guarding and not invading! Today we had thunderboomers and refreshing rains so a few pics in the early refreshed eve. Lady's mantle which I think should be grown just for showing dew and raindrops

Oh D-nut! Everything is awake is Calgary and looking good!!

Weeze, every time I see a pic of 'Venosa' I ask myself why I don't own it. Thanks for making me ask again. lol

Deb I meant to say that those roses are beautiful and the dog shots are great too. Thats one happy puppy!! lol

Tex, everything looks great, now don't laugh at me but i've never eaten egg plant. I do however love omelets. ^_^

D-nut, that plant you don't like is that a centaurea?

Ha, ha! Another gremlin on my veggie patch! Seriously, every season's-end we have a harvest fest and we have friends coming over for bbq and help themselves with the season's harvest. We don't know (or just plain lazy to try or learn) to can or whatchamaculit - homesteading???? veggies and stuff. There's always a lot left. We freeze some of them too.
Some we give to both our neighbors since they grow nothing at all. Makes them happy.
Last year we also had sweet potatoes and I got sick and tired of eating them. By January, I threw a pail-full as they got molded. February, I remember we were still giving a friend a whole yellow butter squash - I swear never to grow them again as they take up the whole yard.
But guess what I'm trying to grow this time... watermelon! It will take up the whole yard again!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Watermelon is fun and oh so sweet!!!
