Nice!!! Love the color on Satomi and that hot pink peony- WOW.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Bill, do you know the name of that there peony? I have just about convinced a friend to accept one as a gift, but it must be the perfect cultivar, part of which is exactly that color!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I covet the flamingo salix.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Bill. Looks like I need a different source!

Thomaston, CT

Great photos, Bill---loved the clems----I have one spot left (OK, maybe 2) for a clem, & it looks like 'Josphine' is the winner! Hope the redbud comes back---Shelley's is gorgeous. Not much looking good here---very saturated!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very nice photos, Bill. And thanks for the new thread. Been real busy the past few days. SO many nice shots. Have not had time for photos. Here is one from the other day - shadows on an iris.

Beautiful photos. I especially like the clematis - really nice one!

Bill - as you get more mature shrubs, you should try growing clems through them. Many 'advantages' over growing them up structures.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Nice pics Bill.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

My clematis are actually a mess I need to work on, tried covering a fence, but not working great - will probably add a few trellis' and let them go amongst the shrubs.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

victor i have a type 3 growing into a redbud out front and it has made it very high into the tree - i think it is proteus or something close to that spelling - too lazy to check my list.

Hi RC
I love the Watson color too and it gets paler and more yellow as the season ends.
This is September of last year

Man, I always feel so far behind when I look at these pictures. Luckily I *do* have stuff in bloom.

This is veronica trehane just starting to bloom. I want to get more of this as a ground cover in the front bed, but it is hard to find (at a cheap price for mass planting)
