Renee_O wrote: Scoot...They appear to root just about the same as any of the Brugs do for me here. (a few miles from you). The Sangs seem to root better around this time of the year as opposed to later or even in early winter for me??? I am so ANXIOUS to see blooms on that thing. I've had one (Inca Queen) for 3 years now. Have to take cuts every summer because it never blooms for me. I've gotten to where I even drag the goofy thing into the AC'd house during the heat waves-duh:) I have been asking around for some info on just where to look for the bud formation on this plant but still have no idea where it should appear. It seems like the logical place is not where the buds form....I am unsure about this though. Just like Brugie's plant .....every time I think I am getting a bud....the darn thing would unfurls in a few days and then goes on to become another side shoot with it's own leaf cluster???? It looks like a sphere right now...if you ask me. LOL Oh Scoot.... I sure hope yours does bloom for you. Then all of us not real familiar with this plant will get to see it's growth specifics. BTW.....Still looking for another Maya? I have some good sized basal shoots coming up on mine right now and will probably only root one of 'em for next year. PLMK if you need/want one??? R.
