Today it was just a beautiful early spring moment. These are Japanese Flowering Apricots - Prunus Mume Peggy Clark, in the small garden just behind the visitors' center at Tryon Palace in New Bern. There were bees galore on the flowers but my point-and-shoot camera didn't get them. There is a fee for most of Tryon Palace, but this little garden is always open at no charge.
