Elsewhere a similar discussion is going on and several members pan Snowbank, complaining of burned edges. Here the comments are all positive. I have very young Snowbanks, which I obtained from Terranova, the patent holder. I hope this coming spring and summer they will grow to size and bloom. The foliage IS spectacular, but I'm anxious to see what the trumpets look like. I recently acquired a Sunset, and there are noticeable differences. I would like to obtain a Maya so I can grow all 3 and compare. Oh, and I also have P&C and late this summer it bloomed, and how exciting to see the trumpets emerge white and see them turn a honey color. I especially liked how even the pods were variegated! I hope to be able to have some cuttings of all these variegated varieties for trade (except Snowbank, of course, whose reproduction is prohibited by the patent). |
