Picture of Maya in late fall

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Running across some photos that I didn't post.
This is Maya late fall. She got knocked out by a frost when I was out of town. I'm still sad about it. This was one of the first brugs that I owned.

looking awsome! How did the perian shield do under it? It looks like it is pretty shaded?

Did fantastic! It actually did better for me in the shade. This part of the yard only got a few hours of sun a day. I'm surprised Maya did so well for me.

Beautiful Kristi ... hate when that happens.

I like Maya, but sure have trouble rooting her. Was lucky that I did get one rooted for myself. Mine didn't grow real well this year, but none of the others did either. Just too hot I think.

My Maya grew and bloomed. Still looking good in dormant state.

I love that one, Kristi! Great shot. My Maya stayed short all summer. I don't think it's much taller than 3 feet now.

Our wind chill is -20º right now at 8:00 am. DANG cold! I had to go out and carry the dog back in when she went out to do her business this morning. She was just standing out there holding up her paws cuz they were so cold.

Kristi, your Maya was so pretty. Several people have sent me cuttings and everyone of them have died. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or if it is just one hard brug to root.

-20 ?????????????????????----bless your heart----now thats just "TOO STINKIN COLD!!!" as my lil boy used to say,--thats worth a sympathy card even... cheryl

Yes - too stinkin cold is right! Tonight is supposed to worse.

-20 I feel so bad for you Sue! I can't imagine cold like that. I don't think I'd make it. I'm pushing REALLY hard to move to a kinder more gentle climate. San Diego sounds good right about now.

Mini- I've not had any trouble rooting maya. I'll start you one in the spring. I still have one more plant left. Just not as big as the one in the picture.

Kristi, you are so sweet. I would really appreciate it. I think part of my problem was that I just got started trying to root cuttings too late in the year, and have no place to bring them in now that it has been colder.
