My photos are plants in habitat so I can be sure of what they are. Pedunculatum can grow into a very large clumping plant, I've seen some quite huge ones growing in the open in swampy ground. Angustifolium growing (naturally) around my place never gets that big and it's dormant over the dry season (winter). A synonym for angustifolium is Crinum asiaticum var angustifolium, and for pedunculatum is Crinum asiaticum var pedunculatum. So, it's not surprising there's some confusion around. |
