Here's a good pic of some of the okra growing in my back yard. I missed harvesting for a day and some grew too huge to eat, so they went to the compost pile. I can tell you that not every single okra pod had a flower, but I do get several every day. The ants are eating the aphids which love the young, tender, buds and pods. Just spray them with a strong blast of water or a water/soap mixture.
