Boy this has been a good week for me! Hoya limoniaca opened its first flowers, and it has two more unopened umbels of flowers on it. I've heard its a blooming fool once it gets going and its proving true. I tried taking a picture the other night after work but the flash washed out what little colour it has. So here it is in indirect sunlight, with me forcing the flash closed while I take the picture. The things we do to get the right shot ... lol. And boy, what a scent!! Very, very strong the first night, but it calmed down and the subsequent evenings it was just a very pleasant scent, sort of a combination of carnations and jasmine maybe. I'm not too good at describing scents.
