Cyndie: Unfortunately it is NOT large enough to handle all the seeds! A typically small, suburban lot.

I think they are around 1/8 acre? in these parts.

According to the Google calculator:
approx 8,520 (sq feet) = 0.195592287 acres (which I see is closer to 1/5 acre)

My lot is where the street bends ever so slightly, so the front is 51 foot wide, the back is 65 foot wide, by 142 foot deep.

Dad had planned to split the purchase of the empty lot between us and the next nearest neighbor (the next plot over after that), it never happened, dagnabbit. Then, I would probably have had a whole 1/4 acre!!

BUT, before you on plantations pity me for my small plot, I am most fortunate to have about 5 undeveloped acres behind my property, which separates my yard from the yards of the businesses on the other side of "no man's land."

We fondly refer to this area as "The Outback."

This is the view east, looking back toward where The Outback is behind my property (See all those oaks? They are behind my yard).
