Notice I said needed and not wanted ha ha ha ha!
Well anyway..I just left the garden center. There are 2 plants I must have. I would have paid a pretty penny. So I decided to come here to my friends first...he he he.
1. Calla Lily - This one is approx. 18 tall. The flowers are pastel and the leaves are white spotted.
2. Clivia - Red flowers if possible.
Anybody? Somebody?
NEEDED: Pleaseeeeee
Wow Kim...I googled the plant. I love it...makes me wonder if it attracts hummers. Here's something I found...not sure if you've already looked here. Hope this helps :-)

Margo
Well, I am not sure. hehe
I went to your site and you don't have a trade list.
This plant you see in the picture is actually too close the daphne ordora so I will dig it up soon and you can have part of it then.
Thanks for the comment on the picture. It is a good nice shady bed now since everything has grown up.
I like fragant, perennial plants, nothing too large, etc. You seem to have so many things so.... Give me a suggetion.
Off the subject, you should see the coleus plants now. They are much bigger and happy. Need to take cuttings and see if I can overwinter them.

Hi There,
I am Windale in Australia. I have callas for trade and alsol have seed available in the red, orange and yellow clivia. I grow them in my nursery here in Australia. I am also going to be growing a lovely pastel pink clivia but will not have flowers for seed for about 3-4 years. haha. Seriously though, from what I have been able to find out within Australia no-one grows or offers the pink, so I decided why not. They are so stunning. I am also crossing my orange and yellow clivia in the next 6 weeks to hopefully get a lovely peach clivia seed.
Let me know via d-mail if anyone is interested.
Cheers

Are clivia seeds easy to grow?
Hi There,
Yes Clivia seed is very easy to grow. You can use vermiculite which I prefer as the strike rate is about 99%. I use this medium placed into polystyerine cups with a couple of drainage holes in the bottom, then place the whole cup into an air tight container and sit it on top of your fridge or in a warm room in your house, after about 4-5 weeks they should have started to send down the lower shoot and then will start to produce the leaves. Clivia started from seed normally takes about 3 years to produce a flower, they are a very slow plant but once they reach flowering size they will flower each year. These plants absolutely hate the frost and being planted into direct sunlight. They like stippled light and if you live in a frost or snow prone area you would plant them into a pot so that you can leave it on the verandah where it will be protected, they are evergreen and can even be grown indoors, to achieve the flower you would need to place it somewhere in the house where it would have access to sunlight through a window. You need 2 plants though to achieve seed.
I hope that this helps you.
Cheers
