We were going to head up toward the Lost Maples area, but then the weatherman on TV started telling everyone the fall color is great this year and encouraging people to go. I could just imagine the crowds! So we'll wait. My own Bigtooth Maple doesn't ever get color until a bit later in the year, but the Texas Ash in the back is starting to get a nice puplish color. And the flameleaf sumac out here is looking pretty good along the roads!
