Couldn't have offered much help on shade plants since most of my shade is only in early morning; everything must withstand the heat of the day around here. I do have one spot in the back that gets morning sun only then shade the remainder of the day. I have calla lilies, coleus, perilla, lamiums, elephant ear and white ginger. Oh and the 'blackie' potato vine has wound itself throughout. I also added the "dis-obedient" obedient plant since it will work in shady areas too. LOL!
