There are at least 3 Rojo's that I know of.
Musa sumatrana, M. zebrina and M. sumatrana X zebrina are all marketed under Musa Rojo.

Also confusing the mix are Rowe's Red, Rowes Red and Rojo Red.
These Rowe's looks like a Zebrina but redder.

I've flowered zebrina and 'Bordelon' indoors in pots.
Just keep growing them like you were doing outside and get them a ton of light.
Warm days and cool nights seem to have set them off.
