The winter blooms are MUCH lighter. I did not post any when butterfly bloomed cause I did not think anyone would believe it was her lol. CG seemed to be least affected by the cold. My favorite nursery has a monster that I have to visit from time to time. (Oh yeah, I buy plants too.) Interestingly, I had no whites bloom in winter. Perhaps next year whe the plants are older. I need to learn the best time to cut them back now that most of the plants that I want in the ground are established.

The bug wars have begun. Time to stock up on bt and sevin. Sigh. With all of the frogs I have around, you would think they could take care of that!

Here is a cute little spring allium. It is an invasive plant but mine is bounded by cement above and a drain pipe below so they have only this little spot to grow in.
