I was lucky enough to trial this brug a few years back and found it to be one of my favotite doubles. For one, the thing really grows fast in the hot climates. She almost tripled in size during the summer months last year. Then once the fall came and the cooler weather came in she started blooming like crazy. She has been rumored to be bi-colored but that's not really true. She blooms out very slowly and the inner skirt remains an egg yolk yellow for a long time as the bloom unfurls. The pictures show the yellow and white skirts of the blooms. All of the blooms pictured here are triples. I have checked all the blossoms and every one of these have a third skirt in them. Some of the blooms are stuffed rosette type blooms while others have distinct separation of the skirts. If you live in a warm climate and have trouble growing out doubles, this a brug for you. |
